Giant Electric Ray![]() Gulf of California and southern Pacific Coast of Baja to Panama. Solitary. Rest on bottom or partially bury in mixed sand and rubble in lagoons and bays. Forage at night. If threatened arch back and explode off bottom, often complete a loop in the open water before settling back to the bottom. Gulf of California and coast of Baja and coast to Panama. Tend to ignore divers but will bolt when closely approached. Depth from 0' to 100'. | |
