The Copper Belt: The Copper Belt gets it's name from a streak of copper color rocks that run nearby. It has lots of coral formations that teem with marine life. This site also has the crevices and cracks familiar to Manzanillo dive sites. Normally a very easy dive for all skill levels, you need a boat to reach this site. Depths run from 12 meters (36 feet) and currents are generally very light. Marine Life includes: Green Moray Eels, Jewel Moray Eels, octopus, lobster, Pacific Box Fish, Cardinal Fish, Damsel Fish and Angel Fish. |
