La Ahogada (Choked or Drowned Rock):

This is a site you need a boat to reach and is classified as more an intermediate dive due to currents. Depths can reach 21 meters (63 feet). Currents can be very strong in this area depending on the sea swell and wind. If the visibility is good you can see a huge rock 6m (18 feet) below the surface. Also home to a small cave filled with schools of grunts, walls and canyons this is an interesting dive. Marine Life: Cardinal Fish, Damsel Fish, Octopus, Lobsters, Jacks, Barracudas, Rays, Eels, Trigger Fish, Parrot Fish and Various Marine Life.
