Fabulous weekend in Manzanillo - Vacation Dive Trip

Although conditions weren't very good the day we went diving (bad visibility, strong current) I thoroughly enjoyed my dive with Terry. I had no doubts about his level of professionalism & safety standards which can be a concern when diving in foreign countries. My dive was arranged with less than a days notice; I was picked up from my hostel & looked after from start to finish. Terry was fantastic, friendly & accommodating & his local knowledge were excellent. Writing this reminds me of what a fantastic time I had!

Excellence in Manzanillo - Divemaster Training

What a joy diving with the team at Aquatic Sports and Adventures. Absolutely wouldn't change anything about my training/diving with this PADI dive resort. The Pacific has an abundance of life, and these guys knew exactly where to find it, excellent dive sites with good visibility. I had the opportunity to get a few more specialty certifications under my belt, and I cannot express how efficient and competent Master Instructor Terry is in dive knowledge and theory, a true professional. The quality of Air was excellent; they have the nicest compressor I have seen in this region by far. Although I used my own gear, the rental gear caught my eye instantly, balanced Mares Regulators, and streamline Mares BCD's to match, these guys have thought of it all. I would recommend diving with Aquatic Sports and Adventures to any and all of my dive friends and professionals, EXCELLENT TRIP!!

Great time! - French couple that arrived in Manzanillo on a tandem bike with trailer; pedaled here from Fairbanks, Alaska!

We dove in November 2010 with Aquatic Sports and Adventures in Manzanillo. We have had a really great time!

Terry and the dive team are very professional and friendly. The delivery is a really good value.

Friendly trustworthy dive shop - Snorkelers, Divers, Discover Scuba Dive

I was recently traveling in Mexico, and went diving and snorkeling with Aquatic Sports and Adventures. After researching a few different dive shops and areas, A.S.A looked good. I emailed Terry and got a response right away. He was very friendly and when i met him, he didn't disappoint. We went out on a two tank dive, and my girlfriend and 3 other friends went snorkeling. It was great!!

My girlfriend also took the Intro to Diving PADI course (30 min Video, skills, and shallow dive 3-4 hours) and had an awesome time!! She won't take an elevator and freaks out on planes, but Terry and Nathan made her feel safe and willing to try diving. That says a lot. She and I got to dive together and she had only been snorkeling two times in her life. You can t get much more romantic then that.

To make a long story short, I've been diving throughout Central America, and found this shop to be the most comfortable and nicest people with new gear. As a Tripadvisor regular, TAKE MY WORD, that A.S and A is a really great Dive shop for ANY level of diver or snorkeler. The locations that they go are awesome too! Beautiful area!!!!!

The Best Personalized Experience - Open Water Certification

I had done my classroom and pool training in Colorado and wanted to finish my open water certification during our vacation to Manzanillo. There are two PADI scuba shops in Manzanillo. Terry had the better prices and better response through email so we chose him and we were so glad that we did! I did my first two training dives on the afternoon we arrived in Manzanillo. All of the equipment, including wetsuits, is included in the quoted price and the training dives were from the shore in a quiet bay. The equipment was all new from 2009 and was good quality (Mares Rover BCD 's and balanced MR-12 regulators). Terry, the PADI Master Instructor, is very thorough (none of that "oh you got certified in Mexico so you must not have had to do all of the skills") and explains everything clearly. I was never worried or distressed at any point. He anchored a float out in the bay, showed me around underwater and had me do the required skills. Terry picked us up and dropped us off at our condo each time and gave us lots of info and restaurant suggestions for our stay in Manzanillo. I finished my certification the second day and then Terry offered my boyfriend, who had been waiting on the beach, a dive around the bay for nothing extra. We saw an endangered turtle and lots of fish and coral! Terry is excellent at spotting things to show you and very knowledgeable about aquatic species.

Two days later my boyfriend and I did a morning of boat dives with Terry. It was so nice because it was just us and him so I was never concerned about a big group and a Divemaster who couldn 't pay attention to everyone. The first dive was a structures dive where we swam along rock walls and crevices and the second shallower dive had lots of coral and fish. Aquatic Sports and Adventures is an excellent dive operation with great customer service, extremely competitive prices, personalized service, and reliable equipment and I would happily recommend them to anyone planning to dive while in Manzanillo.

No Shortage of Aquatic Life to See - Snorkel Trip

I did two dive/snorkel tours with Terry and Nathan. They are professional, well informed and certainly give their clients a good experience at a great price.

When visiting the Santiago/Manzanillo area I highly recommend contacting the guys at Aquatic Sports & Adventures. They seem to know all the good spots...

A Great Diving and Learning Experience - Advanced Open Water

I recently had the opportunity to obtain my Advanced Open Water Diver Certification through Aquatic Sports and Adventures in Manzanillo, Mexico. The staff knew their stuff and made every effort to make this a unique experience. Terry, the PADI master instructor who worked with me, provided one-on-one instruction in a very organized, patient and thorough manner. This was no "cattle-boat" operation as found in some other resorts or dive destinations. I got the distinct impression that my own likes, preferences and experience were thoroughly taken into account when planning for my other "fun" dives. All in all, a great diving experience. (Aquatic Sports and Adventures also do snorkel trips and organizes other water adventures, too.) I recommend them.

Good Dive and Good Team - Experienced Divers on 3 Day Package

My spouse and I were diving with Aquatic Sports & Adventures and we enjoyed it very much. I could tell you it is the best one In Manzanillo, We went all over the diving shop and Terry was listening to us and help us realize our dreams. We went few times with them and every time, it was fun. Terry really showed us that we count as client and when we will go back, we will enjoy diving with them again.

I recommend you try it too.

Finally A First Class Dive Experience in Manzanillo - Local experienced Diver

Terry and Nathan offer a first class diving experience where none existed before. There are a number of very good dive sites we visited. They conducted themselves in a friendly professional manner. I look forward to diving here in the future. Jim

Just in case we don 't meet up again before Brenda and I have to leave, I just wanted to thank you again. You treated us royally. Indeed, I think you "beyond the call". You gave me one-to-one attention...fixed my compass...allowed Brenda to come along to snorkel while we dived...enabled to use your camera and made me CD's depicting my attempts at underwater photography. I'd be please to recommend Aquatic Sports and Adventures to anyone.

Yesterday I did my first scuba dive in Manzanillo with Aquatic Sports and Adventures and it was one of the best dives I have ever had. The diversity of marine life is spectacular. It is not 200 feet of visibility as we get in the Caribbean and Asia but the 20 to 40 feet is great. We even saw a Hawks Bill Sea Turtle.
