Scuba Tune-up / Review

Has it been awhile since you've been diving? A little uncertain about some of the key concepts (dive tables, gear assembly, basic skills)? This is the program you need to get you comfortable with scuba again! We will cover the key knowledge concepts then practice the fundamental skills to get you back in the game!

We will cover:

• Safe diving practices
• Dive planning fundamentals
• Problem management
• Breathing air at depth
• Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge
• Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning

Who would benefit from this program?

• A PADI Open Water Diver course referral student who wants a refresher prior to making your open water training dives
• A PADI Scuba Diver who wants to upgrade to Open Water Diver
• You just haven't been diving for awhile!

Aquatic Sports and Adventures can provide the gear you need for the program including a Scuba Tuneup Manual which is yours to keep (if taken at our store).

It will help you recall some key concepts such as:

• What are the five steps in a pre-dive safety check?
• What is the maximum depth limit for all recreational diving?
• What are the signs and symptoms of decompression sickness?
• At 12 meters / 40 feet a diver runs out of air. Her buddy is more than 60 feet away, what should she do?

Correct answers will allow you to complete the book quickly. For incorrect answers, you'll read a brief explanation to help you understand the concept.

Prerequisites:

• Have a scuba diver certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course
• Be at least 10 years old

Take the PADI eLearning with Dive Scuba Tune-up Course online where you will do the reading, watch the videos and answer questions. You retain access to the on-line course for future reference. Then join us for a dive with a PADI Professional to practice all of the skills. Aquatic Sports and Adventures highly RECOMMEND this option.
