PADI Open Water Diver (Basic Diving)This course takes 3-4 days to complete as follows:
Earn your scuba certification! PADI is the way the world learns to dive! The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Learn all about your scuba gear in the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, and standard accessories. You will cover what you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. The equipment you wear will include a scuba wetsuit and weight system. For each concept you'll read a description and watch a video demonstration. Then you'll jump in the pool (or pool-like environment) to practice these skills with your instructor. Later, as a certified diver, use the course materials as a reference guide for future diving adventures and to review what you learned. Packages:This class can be combined with Enriched Air Nitrox Certification! Dive #4 of Open Water Diver Certification can be done with enriched air nitrox and count as Dive #1 of the Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Specialty. Then you do one additional dive with nitrox, a fifth dive and you are certified as both an Open Water Diver and an Enriched Air Nitrox diver. See our package description.
