Discover Scuba and Discover Scuba Diving Experiences

These experiences take 3-4 hours for the Discover Scuba (Pool Only) and 5-6 hours for the Discover Scuba Diving (Pool and Open Water). These are "experience" programs and are NOT diver training or certification courses.

There are few experiences like breathing underwater. It takes a little time to adjust but our gentle introduction under close observation takes one step at a time and is all about fun! The problem will be getting you to get out of the water, not into it! Think you're too old for scuba? Try it!

Experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time and find out what it's like! These programs will let you try scuba to see if you might like it. Aquatic Sports and Adventures offers a pool-only version of this program (Discover Scuba)or both a pool orientation and an experience in open water (Discover Scuba Diving). Remember, this is not an actual scuba certification, but you will use the equipment in shallow water and know what it takes to continue on with additional training.

Aquatic Sports and Adventures supplies all of the required dive gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy compensating jacket, scuba tank, a scuba regulator, basic gauges to monitor depth and air supply and a scuba wetsuit and weight system.

If you decide that you enjoy scuba diving so much that you decide you want to get certified, Aquatic Sports and Adventures will apply the full cost of your Discover Scuba or Discover Scuba Diving Experiences twords your Basic Open Water Certification.

• To take Discover Scuba Diving, you must be at least 10 years old.
