Adventure Diver

If you are a certified Open Water Diver taking this program will help you focus on applying your new underwater skills in areas of interest to you. You will gain confidence as you learn to use your knowledge and practical skills in new types of scuba diving adventures. Enriched Air Nitrox certification can be earned as part of this course. See our package for more information.

This class takes 2-3 days to complete as follows:

• The first day or half-day you would read the manual, on your own, covering the sections for the dives you have chosen and complete the Knowledge Reviews.
• Next you would watch a video and review the Knowledge Reviews with your instructor. This takes 1-2 hours.
• Finally you do the dives which can all be completed in one day.

Here's your chance because you can sample three dives of your choice, get a taste of what you like, and feel more at ease in the water, strengthening your underwater skills and letting you enjoy scuba diving more than ever. You may select 3 dives from the following to obtain your Adventure Diver certification:

• Digital Underwater Photography
• Multi-Level dive
• Enriched Air Diver - You can Earn this certification simultaneously!
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Search and Recovery - Highly Recommended!
• Fish ID
• Night Dive
• Wreck Dive
• Boat Dive

You may use the Adventure Diver dives to complete a full Advanced Open Water Course and earn the Advanced Open Water Certification by completing two additional dives: DEEP and NAVIGATION and doing the associated reading and Knowledge Reviews for these dives.

Take the Full Adventure Diver Course with Aquatic Sports and Adventures and you will receive a PADI Adventure Diver Crew Pak containing textbook and assessory items. Students that take the PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver course online do their reading, watch the videos and complete their knowledge reviews via the internet. You retain access to the on-line course for future reference.

Prerequisites:

• A PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Minimum age: 15 years old (10 years old for PADI Junior Adventure Diver)
