Advanced Open Water Diver

Exploration! Excitement! Experiences! You DO NOT have to be "advanced" to take this course. This course is designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. As an added bonus with Aquatic Sports and Adventures you can earn Enriched Air Nitrox certification along with your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. See our package for information.

Increase your confidence! Build your scuba skills! Be more comfortable in the water! Gain exposure to some specialty areas of diving! This course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities.

Mandatory dives for this rating include a DEEP and NAVIAGATION dive. Then you may select 3 other dives from the following list:

• Digital Underwater Photography
• Multi-Level dive
• Enriched Air Diver - You can Earn this certification simultaneously!
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Search and Recovery - Highly Recommended!
• Fish ID
• Night Dive
• Wreck Dive
• Boat Dive

Students that take the PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver course online do their reading, watch the videos and complete their knowledge reviews. You retain access to the on-line course for future reference. Aquatic Sports and Adventures highly RECOMMENDS this option as it will save you one day of vacation time!

If you are currently a PADI Certified Adventure Diver, you can complete your Advanced Open Water course by doing the appropriate reading and Knowledge Reviews for DEEP and NAVIGATION dives and then doing the two dives.
